Hi, I'm new to this forum so...erm Hi.

Has anybody had issues with the RDS dropouts coming loose when the bike is in use? It seems to only happen with the driveside.

I've used some blue loctite for now which has helped and kept the bolts secure for the time being.

Also, the counter bore on the frame is a perhaps a little undersize for the bolt heads. This causes some rubbing during tightening on on one bolt in particular.

Finally, the bolt heads seem to have quite shallow sockets. This would mean easy to round off if over enthusiastic with them.

My plan is to replace the bolts with better quality high grade stainless or perhaps Ti ones, perhaps with deeper heads but I dont expect this will fix the loosening problem. In fact I guess Ti ones could make it worse (stiff bolts eleiminating joint flex)

Has anyone else seen these issues? any opinions on getting past these issues.?
