Hi all,

I have a 2006 Pisgah with day-glo decals as standard... Shocked I was thinking of replacing them with a plainer colour. I remember seeing replacement sets on the Litespeed website some time ago but can't find any these days.

Does anyone know if official sets are still available and if so, how to obtain them?

Hi,

A good question, I have a 2004 Pisgah (well I think it is 2004) with the yellow decals, with the black outline.  I was looking to change them to just a black outline.  I think I may have found some, but I need to check.

Once I have found out a bit more I will let you know.

Cheers Edward,

I'm gonna speak to my original dealer and if I find out anything useful, I post it here  Wink

I have purchased the decals at he official Litespeed webshop: http://www.shopatron.com/index/615.1
The shop can be found on the Litespeed website under >Lifestyle<.

There are no more decals listed, but if you send a email to the listed contact information, you will get prompt feedback.

I recently replaced my Siena decals.
Found the trick was to try and remove the decal in one piece by carefully lifting a corner and wiping the glue away using some non-chlorine based solvent (eg acetone). Try not to rip it as it makes it harder to remove. Be patient allow the solvent to do the work for you.
Before applying the new decals make sure all the old glue is removed and leave no greasy finger prints. Cheap rubber gloves usually help.
I used some masking tape as a guide before laying down the new labels and once applied made sure all the air bubbles were removed by working the decal from the center out with a rubber block.

Cleaning my bike I use a Stainless Steel Cook Top cleaner from the local supermarket.
Works a treat but once again make sure its not chlorine based.

A good trick for taking off decals is nail polish remover, put some on a rag and rub it off. Peeling off by hand and a hair dryer= 2hours,
nail polish= 5 minutes.
